On 2017 July 17 Members of the Business Women’s Association participated in an inspirational event – Ingrida Šimonytė, Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, former Minister of Finance, and also Ilma Miliūtė-Žilienė, Head of the In-Subsidium, as well as the Member of the Board of VMA, shared their insights on the state’s economy and business-relevant solutions.

Mrs. Ingrīda Šimonyte told us about her way to the current position, the experience of the Minister of Finance, the work at the Seimas, the planned works of the second half of the year in taxes and other fields. Mrs. Ingrid Šimonytė’s statement received a keen interest from the members of the VMA – women presented a number of questions to the speaker, an active discussion took place.

Ilma Miliūtė-Žilienė, Head of “In Subsidium”, started her speech since the founding of the European Union and told about the work of the EU institutions. She touched the topics relevant to our members: about EU structural funds, opportunities to receive their support.
