On March 30th, 2016, an international seminar called “Women in business: Effective politics and strategies to promote women’s entrepreneurship” took place at the European Institute for Gender Equality, where the BWA was one of the partners. During the seminar, Chairman of the Board of the BWA, Dalia Foigt-Norvaišienė, made a presentation entitled “Business women’s non-governmental organization – an effective tool to promote female entrepreneurship”. Together with speakers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Lithuania, she also participated in a debate about initiatives to support women entrepreneurs in the Nordic countries and Lithuania.
