On October 24th, 2016, at the initiative of the Business Women’s Association, a meeting between the BWA members, Kaunas business women and the Kaunas Municipality administration was held, represented by Deputy Head Sigitas Šliažas and the Development Programs and Investments Branch, represented by Sonata Senkienė.

During the meeting, moderated by Chairman of the Board of the BWA, Dr. Dalia Foigt-Norvaišienė, important questions about Kaunas, its society and business were discussed. The interlocutors introduced Kaunas’ development vision and specific projects till the year 2020. Lately, about 60 investment projects have been planned or have already been carried out. The largest investments are being provided to develop the sectors of public infrastructure, transport, and environmental protection.
With every year, more and more funds are being allocated for the financing of business start-ups.
